Hot Rolled Angles have an “L” shaped cross-section which provides excellent strength and stability for framing, structural support, bracing, and brackets across a multitude of industries including general building construction, bridge construction, ship construction, automotive construction, railroad construction, and machinery components.
Hot Rolled Angles can be categorized into 2 types: Equal Angles and Unequal Angles. Equal Angles are characterized by both legs of the angle being the same length which helps provide uniform strength for symmetrical applications. Unequal Angles have different lengths for each leg and provide additional strength in one direction allowing for optimal load distribution.
